SS 304 mesh screens
SS 304 is a stainless steel grade. For a mesh screen quotation, confirm the actual mesh material along with the frame, operation and fitting. A material name alone does not establish the specification of the complete product.
The listed SS 304 screen rate is ₹350–₹380 per sq ft. This rate is separate from the metal pleated mosquito screen range.
Fiberglass mesh screens
Fiberglass mesh is another screen material option. Confirm its suitability for the opening, chosen operation and exposure with the supplier.
The listed fiberglass screen rate is ₹260–₹350 per sq ft. Compare the final screen and fitting configuration, rather than just the material name.
Prices and configuration
| Product | Price per sq ft |
|---|---|
| SS 304 Screen | ₹350–₹380 |
| Fiberglass Screen | ₹260–₹350 |
Ask both quotations to state measured area, mesh material, frame, finish, fittings and installation inclusions. The selected operation style can also affect the product choice.
How to choose
- Consider the opening, operation and available frame space.
- Discuss how the screen is exposed and how it will be maintained.
- Confirm the mesh specification rather than relying on an image.
- Review the complete quotation and product sample where available.
Care for either material
Use gentle cleaning methods recommended for the selected screen. Do not force a jammed mechanism, press heavily on the mesh or use strong chemicals without the supplier’s instructions.
